334 Bohol Police Officers Promoted to Higher Ranks

TAGBILARAN CITY—A total of 334 police officers from the Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) have been promoted to higher ranks, according to BPPO Public Information Officer PLt. Col. Norman Nuez.

The promotions include 12 Police Commissioned Officers (PCO) and 322 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCO).

Among the PCOs, eight officers were promoted from Police Lieutenant to Police Captain, while four Police Executive Master Sergeants advanced to the rank of Police Lieutenant.

For the PNCOs, 38 were promoted to Police Executive Master Sergeant (PEMS), five to Police Chief Master Sergeant (PCMS), 43 to Police Senior Master Sergeant (PSMS), 164 to Police Master Sergeant (PMSG), 34 to Police Staff Sergeant (PSSG), and 38 to Police Corporal.

The newly promoted Police Lieutenants are Christopher Pineda, Joseph Marlon Macalos, Liza Marie Olaivar, and Marigay Orapa.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed Police Captains are Thomas Zen Cheung, Bill Rico Dupagan, Carlo Jobel Lofranco, Alfredo Liguayan, Janice Parcon, John Michael Mendiola, Ariel Aspiras, and Exelsis Belciña.

The pinning and donning of ranks ceremony was held last Feb. 6 at Camp Francisco Dagohoy in Tagbilaran City.
