Congressman Chatto Launches Second Round of Student Incentives
1st District Congressman Edgar Chatto has announced a second batch of cash incentives for high-achieving college students.
The program, aimed at rewarding academic excellence, will provide P5,000 pesos to each of 20 eligible students.
To qualify, applicants must be at least 19 years old, enrolled in a Bohol-based educational institution, and have achieved a grade point average of 85% or higher in the previous semester.
The deadline for applications is August 17, 2024.
The initiative requires students to follow the social media pages of both Congressman Chatto and Trisha V. Chatto, suggesting a focus on digital engagement alongside academic achievement.
This second round follows an earlier batch of incentives, with the congressman encouraging previous unsuccessful applicants to try again. The move comes as part of broader efforts to support education in the province.
