2 Suspects Arrested in Bohol Buy-Bust Operation
Two suspected high-value individuals were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Corella town, Bohol, police said.
Jade Requirme y Lumayag, 22, and Mario Doblaz Jr. y Lopez, 25, both residents of Barangay Ilihan, Inabanga town, were apprehended by operatives of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) in Poblacion, Corella, around 11 p.m.
Seized from the suspects were seven grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price of 47,600 pesos.
According to the police report, the operation was conducted after the suspects’ alleged illegal activities in Corella were monitored by the PDEU. The suspects were caught after they exchanged a small packet of suspected shabu for the buy-bust money.
Requirme and Doblaz are facing charges for violating Sections 5 and 11 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165).
