Cong. Edgar Chatto’s office extends aid to fire victims in Habitat, Bool
The office of 1st District Congressman Edgar Chatto has provided assistance to six families, comprising 27 individuals, affected by a fire that gutted two houses in Habitat, Bool, on August 22, 2024.
Atty. Abel Damalerio, Chief of Staff of Cong. Chatto’s office, visited the affected families to assess their situation.
Chatto, who is also the chairman of the Philippine Red Cross-Bohol Chapter, facilitated the provision of shelter kits from the PRC-Bohol Chapter.
The Boholano lawmaker quickly coordinated with PRC administrator Emmanuel Pilayre to secure the shelter kits.
The congressman also collaborated with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) through Jimmy Crusio, team leader for Bohol, for the turnover of cash assistance worth P10,000 for each affected household.
