PETROGREEN TO COMMISSION DAGOHOY SOLAR PLANT BY NOVEMBER

PetroGreen, a unit of the Yuchengco group of companies, plans to commission its Dagohoy solar power plant by November this year, officials said.

PetroGreen Assistant Vice President Yrel Ventura and Andreana Bravante met with Capitol officials on Aug. 27 to inform the provincial government about the development.

The Dagohoy facility, which covers 22 hectares, will feature 1,270 solar tables consisting of 40,628 units of Trina Solar-brand panels.

The plant is expected to produce 41,000 megawatt hours of power annually.

In addition to the solar plant, PetroGreen will also start various community projects, including a Tarsier conservation initiative.
