The committee also discussed the evaluation of firearms surrendered by former rebels, as well as updates on the activities of the Joint AFP-PNP Intelligence Committee (JAPIC).

Representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and the Philippine Army’s 47th Infantry Battalion were also in attendance.

The Bohol ECLIP Committee is responsible for implementing the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program, a government initiative aimed at supporting former members of the New People’s Army (NPA) and other communist-affiliated groups as they reintegrate into mainstream society.
