OverSightMD delivers an end to end remote patient monitoring (RPM) solution for physicians that is compliant with CMS guidelines for CPT codes 99453, 99454, and 99457. We analyze and review for the physicians all the incoming patient data from monitoring devices and only notify your practice when a response is needed to minimize an issue from escalating. Every qualifying patient receives an innovative state of the art RPM solution that is personalized to meet their clinical needs and our care team representatives proactively engage with them to check for new symptoms, changes in conditions, and other concerns with their health.
The devices are easy to use and come with advanced software for reviewing the data when our team notifies you of care concern that has been verified. Our remote patient monitoring kit is FDA approved and includes a communication hub with emergency and non-emergency response capabilities, a fall detection pendant, and the choice of different health vitals devices based on the patients’ clinical need. Devices automatically communicate with the hub and share data into the OverSightMD care management platform which is rendered in an easy to view patient population management dashboard. The vitals devices include blood pressure cuff, thermometer, glucometer, pulse oximeter, and weight scale. When our care team monitoring the data notices an anomaly with a patient’s health vitals, we immediately initiate a response protocol to check in with the patient and investigate. We can inform you of every alert or only engage your practice when our team makes the judgment that additional intervention is needed.
Most medical groups and independent physicians have been reluctant to deploy RPM solutions due to the requirements outlined in the CMS guidelines for the billable codes, “says Mark Godwin, CEO of OverSightMD. However, we take away many of the burdens and do a lot of the heavy lifting including handling the equipment, monitoring the data, engaging with the patients when alerts occur, and provide physicians and their staff actionable intelligence on their patients so they can schedule visits to deliver timely care as appropriate.”
Our RPM solution makes billing these codes simple and easy for any practice. We are ready to help providers extend this extra layer of protection for their most vulnerable patients without disrupting your practices current operating model.
