KABAYAN PARTY-LIST FILES RESOLUTION COMMENDING FRONTLINERS, ESSENTIAL WORKERS
KABAYAN Party-list Rep. Ron P. Salo has filed a resolution commending all frontliners and essential workers "for their invaluable service and heroic acts in the time of the Covid-19 global pandemic."
"Despite the clear and present danger to their own health and safety, these frontliners and essential workers valiantly performed their duties and rose above and beyond the call of duty so as to ensure that our people are cared for," Salo said through the resolution.
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE FRONTLINERS AND ESSENTIAL WORKERS IN THE PHILIPPINES FOR THEIR INVALUABLE AND HEROIC SERVICES IN THE TIME OF THE COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC
Salo also said, "Since the ECQ was declared, frontliners and essential workers have been at the forefront in this battle against the deadly virus to ensure the safety of everyone and the availability of supplies for all those affected."
He said the frontliners and essential workers include doctors, nurses, other medical professionals, armed personnel, local officials, food and supply workers, and other personnel "who have risked their lives to ensure the delivery of basic services to our countrymen."
"Some of these frontliners and essential workers have been infected by the deadly virus and, worse, succumbed to the virus itself," he also said. (END)
