- E Com Security Solutions (www.ecomsecurity.org) performed an independent evaluation of the design and implementation of SLAN Financial security controls. These controls have been independently inspected to meet the trust services criteria set by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). This included a review of SLAN Financial Core banking and payment platform, Wallets, exchange application, network infrastructure of the data centres, and underlying customer database.
Service organisation controls (SOC) 2 is an internal controls offering that utilizes the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards to provide an audit opinion on the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and/ or privacy of a service organisation’s controls.
During a rigorous period of examination, E Com Security Solutions assessed SLAN Financial controls and determined that these controls meet or exceed the AICPA’s SOC 2 – SOC for Services Organizations: Trust Services Criteria. The review validated how SLAN Financial internal controls ensure the security, availability and processing integrity of the systems the company uses to process customers’ data and the confidentiality and privacy of that data. This makes SLAN Financial demonstrate this level of security compliance in protecting customer data and funds.
