Tech Recruitment Firm Shirks Culture Stereotype, Sets The Bar For Leadership And Remuneration

For the second year in a row, Halcyon Knights, have successfully rejected the notion that Recruitment Firms can’t be great places to work. Today, the IT and Executive Search agency were named a top performer in The HRD Employer of Choice Awards, this time receiving nods for their Remuneration and Leadership.

The accolades, awarded yearly across a variety of industries based on business size, are presented to the top performers in HRD’s anonymous survey, which collects responses from tens of thousands of Australian employees.

Halcyon Knights’ Director of HR and Operations, Harley McLean, believes that these honours, which sit alongside the Employer of Choice Bronze Medal, and blue medals in Career Progression and Reward and Recognition received in 2017, are evidence of the company’s commitment to building a leading workplace environment.

“It’s fantastic to be recognised in these two areas by our employees. As a business we strive to attract and retain the best – and while that starts with good remuneration, we know it doesn’t stop there.“

With an uncapped commission plan, and a dedicated Learning and Development Manager who works to grow leaders at all levels of the business, Halcyon Knights encourages all employees to benefit from their commitment to continual improvement in these areas.

Mrs McLean points to the ability of the business to back Remuneration and Leadership initiatives, as the catalyst for a contented and successful workforce that operates at the cutting edge of recruitment.

“We understand that we’re responsible for setting teams up for success. We strive to empower them by developing the best leaders in recruitment and are proud to set the benchmark in the industry for paying our employees well. It’s fantastic that the team recognises this commitment.”

Halcyon Knights also seek to develop a positive workplace environment by offering further benefits such as a health and well-being allowance, sponsored holidays for top performing team members and paid RDOs, known as HKMyDay.
