Supermums Flies Into the US This Fall

The Supermums team is excited to announce our expansion and launch of our successful Salesforce training in the USA.

For the past three years, UK-based Supermums Training CIC has been propelling women across 14 countries into the Salesforce Ecosystem. Salesforce is the world’s number 1 CRM platform and is growing rapidly. A 2018 report found that they are expected to create 3.3m jobs worldwide by 2022, and the market for Salesforce skills in the USA is a competitive one with Salesforce Developer jobs outpacing available talent by 4:1* and jobs requiring Salesforce skills are growing faster than other jobs in the sector.* As it’s cloud-based, many of the roles can offer flexible and remote working and due to the lack of available talent, the jobs are well rewarded. This combination makes them ideal for mums, whether they are looking to get back into work after a career break or seeking a change from a role that isn’t offering them the work / life balance they need.

Sylvaine Boyer is based in the US and joined the Supermums program as a mentor this year. She is currently in charge of running new Sales Productivity programs at LinkedIn and has this to say about the opportunities for women using Salesforce to propel their careers forward: “The US job market is extremely dynamic and in favor of skilled Salesforce resources here. There are so many opportunities in the States that we grateful to have a couple to choose from every time we evaluate taking on a new career step. Salesforce is very well established here and this guarantees a lot of well paid opportunities for any levels of experience or roles, whether that’s Admin, Business Analyst, Consultant, Architect, Developer etc.

Supermums’ approach is to educate mums about the opportunities available in tech through calls, webinars with mums already working in the sector and our online community. There is a support package with training, coaching, mentoring, work experience and job placement, alongside events and a thriving community of over 700 participants who take a very active role in the Facebook group. Discussions range from technical questions to conversations around feeling like an imposter. All of this contributes to the participants’ belief in themselves and their future in the workplace, as well as providing excellent value for money.

Supermums has run 13 courses, with 167 trainees signed up to programmes, supported by 91 volunteers, across 14 countries. 85% of graduates secure a Salesforce related role within 3 months of graduating thanks to the support of sister company, Supermums Recruitment. Supported by demand and support from employers such as St. James’s Place Wealth Management, Deloitte, Accenture, Dyson & Validity.

Supermums hits the US this fall with a dedicated US course starting in November. We will be commencing two new cohorts of Admin training with sessions in both UK and USA time zones. Being a virtual programme, there already been many trainees participating from the USA> the new program, however, provides support, webinars and work experience projects in the trainees’ time zone. Supermums is delighted to have Sponsorship from global brands Validity for our Admin Course and Accenture for our Marketing Cloud Course to help launch the brand in the US.

“Validity is proud to be a part of the growth of Salesforce Supermums as they now expand into the United States. We believe that having a child should not force someone to abandon their career or personal ambition in order to devote time on what really matters most —family. Working with an organization like Supermums to help people get back into the workplace —with the digital skillset needed to succeed —is beyond just a nice thing to do, it’s the right thing to do.”
